Configuration of the parameter FAXG3ECM on a bintec Media Gateway
The Error Correction Mode (ECM) is an additional feature of the group 3 fax devices.

The parameter "FAXG3ECM" can only be configurated via SNMP Shell on all bintec Media Gateways.
This parameter is on for all ISDN-interfaces per default. If there are breakups or errors with some group 3 fax devices, please put off this parameter.

The parameter can be found in the SNMP table "capiConfigTable" (SNMP group "capi"). The following example describes how to change and save the configuration.

Other bintec Media Gateways with comparable software versions can be configurated identically.

A bintec R3000 (release 7.9.1) is used in this example:
