Problems with the password
References regarding problems with the password of the Bintec router.

Overview
[1] New password is not valid, Password is missing (with Bootmonitor)
New password is not valid
The login with a new password may fail because there have been added on or more spaces behind the password by mistake. In this case you can access the router again by systematic trials with an supplemented password accordingly.

If there is no possibility to find the correct password you can access the router again with the default password after deleting the current configuration. Below there is a description of this method via the Bootmonitor.

Procedure to delete the configuration via the Bootmonitor:

Connect to the router via the serial cable (see user´s guide) and reboot the router afterwards. Please monitor the messages during the boot sequence and press "space" as soon as the according request appears.
